What is the minimum amount needed to open an account?

$30,000 USD, unless otherwise specified in a promotional offer.

What are your trading hours?

We support trading from 4:00AM-7:00PM EST

What are your commissions for equities? Are there any other hidden fees?

We charge a fixed, per-share fee that allows active traders to effectively scale into and out-of positions without incurring significant flat fees. For example: five separate orders of 100 shares would be charged $2.25 USD (500*$0.0045), whereas with a flat fee of $7 USD this would cost $35 USD.

Does CenterPoint Canada apply any routing fees?

No, all commission fees will be charged $0.0045/share + regulatory fees. There are no additional routing fees.

Does CenterPoint Canada offer any routing rebates?

Yes, we offer a rebate of .002/share when you add liquidity on our ADDONLY route. Symbols under $1 will not receive this rebate.

Are there any additional trading fees?

In addition to commissions, CenterPoint will pass-through Regulatory Fees per below:

SEC Transaction Fee: USD $0.000008 * Value of Aggregate Sales.

FINRA Trading Activity Fee: USD $0.000145* Quantity Sold.

What are my options for support?

You have full access to our client support team and trade desk via email and telephone. Please let them know you are a client of CenterPoint Canada.

Do you accept accounts from outside of Canada?

Currently, we are only accepting client accounts of Canadian residents except residents of Quebec. If you are not a Canadian resident, our U.S. affiliate is a FINRA/SIPC member broker dealer who can accept applications from certain foreign jurisdictions.
